Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup almonds (toasted and chopped)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips or fudge pieces

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, whisk milk, sugar, and cocoa powder over medium heat until smooth.
  • Remove from heat, then stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract.
  • Chill mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Pour into an ice cream maker and churn until thick.
  • Fold in marshmallows, almonds, and chocolate chips.
  • Freeze for 4–6 hours before serving.

Notes

 
Use toasted almonds for a richer nutty flavour.
 
If you don’t have an ice cream maker, freeze the base and stir every 30 minutes until creamy.
 
Substitute almonds with walnuts or pecans for variety.
