For the Shrimp
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 cups water
For the Remoulade Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Creole or Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
For Serving

- Lemon wedges

Bring water, lemon slices, and salt to a gentle boil. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink and opaque. Drain immediately and transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking.
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic, paprika, parsley, and green onions until smooth.
Pat the cooled shrimp dry and place them in a mixing bowl. Add the remoulade sauce and gently toss until evenly coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
