For the Shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Cilantro-Lime Crema

  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Pinch of salt

For the Tacos

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup red onion, finely diced
  • Fresh cilantro leaves
  • Lime wedges

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine sour cream, lime juice, cilantro, garlic, and salt. Stir until smooth and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink, opaque, and cooked through.
  • Heat tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a gas flame until warm and pliable.
  • Fill each tortilla with shredded cabbage, cooked shrimp, tomatoes, and red onion.
  • Drizzle generously with cilantro-lime crema.
  • Top with fresh cilantro leaves and serve with lime wedges.
