Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin tips, cut into chunks
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup red wine (optional)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat butter and oil in a skillet.
  • Season beef, sear until browned, and set aside.
  • Add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant.
  • Stir in mushrooms, cooking until softened.
  • Deglaze with wine, add broth and soy sauce.
  • Return beef, add thyme, simmer 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot with your favorite side.
