Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup vegetable or chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Trim the stem ends and remove any damaged outer leaves. Cut larger sprouts in half.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place Brussels sprouts cut-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the broth and add salt, pepper, and thyme. Cover the skillet and reduce heat to medium-low.
  • Simmer for 10–12 minutes until the Brussels sprouts are fork-tender and most of the liquid has reduced.
  • Stir in butter and lemon juice. Toss gently to coat.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
