Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 8 slider rolls or mini sandwich buns
  • 8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Place sliced peppers and onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Season beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Place beef on top of vegetables and pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4–5 hours, until beef is tender and easily shredded.
  • Remove beef from the slow cooker, shred it with two forks, and return it to the juices.
  • Toast slider rolls lightly in butter, if desired.
  • Place shredded beef and vegetables on each roll, top with a slice of provolone, and let it melt.
  • Serve warm and enjoy your Philly-inspired sliders!
