- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 8 slider rolls or mini sandwich buns
- 8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
Place sliced peppers and onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Season beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Place beef on top of vegetables and pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours or High for 4–5 hours, until beef is tender and easily shredded.
Remove beef from the slow cooker, shred it with two forks, and return it to the juices.
Toast slider rolls lightly in butter, if desired.
Place shredded beef and vegetables on each roll, top with a slice of provolone, and let it melt.
