- 1 cup smoked fish (whitefish, salmon, mullet, or mackerel), flaked
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1–2 tsp hot sauce (optional)
- 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp finely chopped celery
- Salt and pepper, to taste
In a mixing bowl, add the flaked smoked fish and break it apart with a fork.
Add cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce.
Mix until smooth but still slightly chunky for texture.
Fold in the onion, celery, and herbs.
Chill for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
Garnish with paprika or Old Bay before serving.
