Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces smoked salmon
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon capers (optional)
  • 1 small shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Roughly chop the smoked salmon.
  • Place smoked salmon, cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice, dill, Dijon mustard, capers, shallot, and black pepper in a food processor.
  • Blend until creamy and fluffy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Taste and add more lemon juice or pepper if desired.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl or piping bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Top with dill, capers, and lemon zest. Serve with crackers, toast points, or fresh vegetables.
