Ingredients
  

  • 4 large flour tortillas or lavash bread
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained (optional)
  • 1 small cucumber or handful of spinach leaves
  • 6 oz (170 g) smoked salmon slices
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, lemon juice, and dill until smooth.
  • Lay tortillas flat and spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture over each.
  • Arrange smoked salmon evenly over the cheese layer.
  • Add cucumber slices or spinach for crunch and color.
  • Roll tortillas tightly into logs and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Chill for 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Slice into 1-inch pinwheels and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use whole wheat tortillas for added flavor and fiber.
  • Substitute dill with chives or parsley for variation.
  • Add a touch of horseradish for extra zing.
