- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugarx
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional for extra softness)
- Extra sugar for rolling (optional)
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add Wet Ingredients: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract, then stir in the sour cream if using.
