For Marinade:
- 1 kg chicken (bone-in pieces)
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
For Coating:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tsp onion powder
In a large bowl, mix buttermilk, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight preferred).
