  • 3 pounds pork neck bones
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and pat dry the neck bones.
  • Season with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • Heat oil in a large Dutch oven or stockpot.
  • Brown the neck bones on all sides.
  • Sauté onions until softened, then add garlic.
