  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll dough into a log shape.Wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Slice dough into even rounds.Roll edges in coarse sugar for the sparkling effect.
  • Place on lined baking tray.Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 15–18 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool completely before serving.
