Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix chili powder, paprika, cayenne, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the spice mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Place chicken breasts in the skillet and cook 6–7 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Squeeze lime juice over the chicken and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • Best served hot, straight from the skillet.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Works well in tacos, burritos, or rice bowls.
