Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves, blended
  • ½ cup Butter, melted
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Blend spinach into a smooth puree with a small amount of water.
  • In a bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and spinach puree.
  • Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Pour batter into a greased baking pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes.
  • Let brownies cool completely before slicing into squares.
