- 1 prepared angel food cake (cubed)
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (Jello)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1½ cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 1 tub whipped topping (Cool Whip)
In a bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water.
Add cold water and stir well.
Fold in sliced strawberries and allow mixture to cool slightly.
In a serving dish, layer angel food cake cubes evenly.
Pour strawberry mixture over the cake, letting it soak in.
Spread whipped topping evenly over the top.
Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours until set.
Garnish with fresh strawberries before serving.
