Ingredients

  • 500g beef (sirloin, ribs, or chunks)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Strawberry BBQ Sauce:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (chopped)
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a pan and season the beef with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the beef on all sides until browned. Set aside.
  • In the same pan, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add strawberries and cook until soft and juicy.
  • Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, paprika, chili flakes, and lemon juice.
  • Simmer the sauce for 10–15 minutes until thickened.
  • Blend the sauce for a smooth texture (optional).
  • Return the beef to the pan and coat well with the sauce.
  • Cook on low heat for 20–25 minutes until the beef is tender.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
