Ingredients
  

  • 12 artichoke hearts (canned or cooked fresh), drained
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange artichoke hearts cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon stuffing mixture generously into each artichoke heart.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and crisp on top. Serve warm.

  • Pat artichoke hearts dry before stuffing.
  • Fresh breadcrumbs give a softer texture.
  • Canned or frozen artichokes both work well.
  • Lemon enhances the natural artichoke flavour.
  • Best served warm or at room temperature.
