Ingredients
  

  • 2 (5 oz)cans of tuna in water, drained
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or onion powder
  • Fresh bread (e.g., Italian, wheat, or flatbread)
  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber, pickles, and cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Open the cans of tuna and drain them well.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended. Add optional garlic or onion powder for extra flavor.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  • Spread the tuna mixture evenly onto your choice of bread.
  • Add your desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, or cheese.
  • Close the sandwich, cut in half, and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use light mayonnaise or Greek yogurt instead.
  • Adjust the mayonnaise quantity based on your desired creaminess.
  • For extra crunch, add celery or diced onions to the tuna mixture.
