  • 1 cup milk or water (or half-and-half combination)
  • 1 ripe banana (½ mashed, ½ sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seed butter or 2 tablespoons raw or roasted sunflower seeds
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, combine oats, milk (or water), and salt.
  • Cook over medium heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring often, until thick and creamy.
  • Stir in mashed banana, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  • Add sunflower seed butter (or seeds) and mix until well combined.
