Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons cold water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt to a food processor.
  • Blend for 1 minute. Scrape down the sides.
  • Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, until the hummus becomes creamy.
  • Add more lemon juice or salt if needed.
  • Transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika if desired.
