Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 2 cups pretzels
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Baking Sheet:
    Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a large bowl, combine Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, and mixed nuts.
  • Make the Glaze:
    In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in brown sugar and honey, bringing the mixture to a gentle boil. Let it simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and add vanilla extract and salt.
  • Coat the Mix:
    Pour the glaze over the dry ingredients, stirring gently to coat everything evenly.
  • Bake:
    Spread the coated mix evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  • Cool:
    Allow the mix to cool completely on the baking sheet. The glaze will harden as it cools.
  • Serve and Store:
    Once cooled, transfer to an airtight container. Enjoy immediately or store for up to a week.

Use gluten-free cereals and pretzels to make this recipe gluten-free. Adjust the type of nuts or omit them for allergy-friendly options.
