Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons milk or water (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil

Instructions
 

  • Break the matzo into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.
  • Quickly soak the matzo in warm water for about 20–30 seconds until slightly softened.
  • Drain the water and gently squeeze out excess moisture.
  • Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add milk if using.
  • Combine the eggs and matzo, mixing until the pieces are well coated.
  • Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour the matzo mixture into the skillet and cook for 3–5 minutes.
  • Stir gently or flip pieces until lightly golden and cooked through.
  • Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon while still warm.
  • Serve with powdered sugar, honey, maple syrup, or fruit.
