- Salt and pepper to taste
Trim the crusts from the bread slices and flatten them gently with a rolling pin.
Spread cream cheese or mayonnaise evenly over each slice.
Sprinkle cheese and evenly distribute vegetables or chosen fillings.
Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Roll each bread slice tightly from one end to form a log.
Wrap rolls in cling film and chill for 15–20 minutes for clean slicing.
