Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips or biscuit dough base
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1 unbaked pie crust or refrigerated crescent dough

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef and onions until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce, stirring well. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Place the pie crust or crescent dough in a pie pan.
  • Spread the beef mixture evenly over the crust.
  • Top with sour cream, cheese, and crushed tortilla chips.
  • Add olives and diced tomatoes if desired.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
  • Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm with salsa or guacamole.

  • Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • Add refried beans for extra creaminess.
  • You can substitute the pie crust with layers of flour tortillas.
  • Adjust spice level by adding jalapeños or chili flakes.
