- 1 kg chicken drumsticks, thighs, or wings
- 1 cup thick plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1½ tbsp tandoori masala
- 1 tsp paprika or Kashmiri chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- Salt to taste
In a large bowl, whisk yogurt, lemon juice, oil, and all spices until smooth.
Add chicken and coat thoroughly. Cover and marinate for at least 2 hours (overnight preferred).
Preheat grill to medium-high heat or oven to 200°C (400°F).
Grill chicken for 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and lightly charred.
Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with lemon wedges.
