Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz (340 g) fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup pitted sweet cherries (fresh or frozen)
  • ¾ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed tangerine juice
  • 1 tbsp tangerine zest
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, add cranberries, cherries, sugar, tangerine juice, water, and salt.
  • Simmer: Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally until sugar dissolves.
  • Cook: Reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes, or until the cranberries pop and the sauce thickens.
  • Add Zest: Stir in tangerine zest and cinnamon, if using, for extra depth of flavor.
  • Cool: Remove from heat and let the sauce cool completely before transferring to a serving bowl. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

  • Use fresh tangerine juice for the best flavor.
  • The sauce will thicken as it cools.
