  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

  • 2 sprigs fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  • Wash and thoroughly dry the cherry tomatoes.
  • Using a toothpick or small skewer, gently prick each tomato once to help the brine penetrate.

  • In a saucepan, combine the vinegar, water, sugar, and salt.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar and salt dissolve completely.
  • Remove the brine from the heat and carefully pour it over the tomatoes until fully submerged.

  • For the best flavor, let the pickles mature for 2–3 days before enjoying.
