Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices sourdough or ciabatta bread
  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ small red onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter (for toasting)
  • Optional: tomato slices, spinach, or pickles

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, and onion.
  • Spread butter on the outside of the bread slices.
  • Layer the tuna mixture and cheese inside the sandwich.
  • Add optional toppings if desired.
  • Place in a panini press or skillet and cook until bread is golden and cheese melts.
