Ingredients
  

  • 8 tostadas (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cans tuna (drained) or 2 fresh tuna steaks (seared and flaked)
  • 1 avocado, sliced or mashed
  • ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Salsa or hot sauce, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Prepare tostadas by frying or baking tortillas until crispy.
  • In a bowl, mix tuna, onion, tomato, jalapeño, lime juice, mayo, and cilantro.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread avocado over each tostada.
  • Top with tuna mixture and garnish with salsa or hot sauce.
  • Serve immediately for best crunch.

  • Use fresh tuna for a more gourmet version.
  • Store-bought tostadas save time, but homemade taste fresher.
  • Adjust lime juice and chili for preferred spice level.
  • For creaminess, add sour cream or chipotle mayo.
