Ingredients
  

  • 1 boneless turkey breast (about 3 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bread stuffing
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Kitchen twine for tying

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the turkey: Butterfly the turkey breast and pound it to an even thickness.
  • Make the stuffing: In a bowl, combine stuffing, cranberries, pecans, and chicken broth.
  • Stuff the turkey: Spread the stuffing mixture over the turkey, leaving a 1-inch border.
  • Roll and tie: Roll the turkey tightly and secure with kitchen twine.
  • Season and sear: Rub olive oil, salt, pepper, sage, thyme, and garlic over the turkey. Sear in a hot pan until golden brown.
  • Roast: Transfer to a baking dish and roast for 50-60 minutes, basting occasionally.
  • Rest and slice: Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Substitute pecans with walnuts or omit for a nut-free version.
