For the Marinade
- 1½ pounds boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cubed
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
For the Kebabs
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- Wooden or metal skewers

In a large bowl, combine yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, oregano, turmeric, black pepper, and salt.
Add chicken pieces to the marinade and coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Thread chicken, onions, and bell peppers onto skewers alternately.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill kebabs for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally until chicken is fully cooked and lightly charred.
