fresh turmeric, peeled and grated
(or 1/2 tsp turmeric powder)

lemon, juiced

honey
(optional, for sweetness)

water
Pinch of black pepper
(optional, to enhance turmeric absorption)
Instructions
Add grated ginger and turmeric to a small bowl or directly into a blender.
Add lemon juice, honey, water, and black pepper (if using).
Blend the mixture until smooth. Alternatively, use a fine grater and stir well.
Strain the liquid into a small glass using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
Serve immediately as a single shot or store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Notes
Adjust the honey to your desired level of sweetness or skip it altogether for a sugar-free version.
If fresh turmeric is unavailable, substitute it with high-quality turmeric powder.
