- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
Heat the olive oil or butter in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until soft and translucent.
