Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups chopped cabbage
  • 300g ground beef (or chicken/turkey)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and garlic, sauté until soft.Add ground meat and cook until browned.
  • Lightly sauté cabbage for 5–7 minutes until slightly softened.
  • In a large bowl, combine cooked meat, cabbage, rice, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and spices. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Spread evenly.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.Remove foil, add cheese on top (optional), and bake for another 15 minutes until golden.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
