For the Ribs
- 2 racks pork baby back ribs (about 4–5 pounds total)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Dry Rub
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Barbecue Glaze
- 1½ cups barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs using a paper towel for better grip.
Pat the ribs dry and rub with olive oil.
Mix all dry rub ingredients in a small bowl and generously coat both sides of the ribs.
Place each rack on a large sheet of aluminum foil and wrap tightly.
Arrange the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and roast for 3 to 3½ hours until tender.
Carefully remove the ribs from the foil and place them back on the baking sheet.
Mix the barbecue glaze ingredients and brush generously over the ribs.
Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, brushing with additional glaze halfway through.
Allow the ribs to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
